Severity Wound Bonus Damage Critical Effect
1-2 Non-Arterial Puncture Roll willpower save against a DC equal to the attack’s damage or be dazed for one round.
3-4 Broken Rib The target is sickened by pain until he receives major medical attention. Whenever he takes anything other than a move action, he must make a willpower saving throw against DC equal to the attack’s damage or be dazed by pain that round instead.
5-8 Punctured Lung +1 Damage/HD Target is staggered by pain and lack of oxygen until he receives major medical attention or a successful surgery check.
9-12 Major Internal Bleeding +1 Damage/HD Deals bleeding damage each round. The damage starts at 1d6 (immediately, not counted for purposes of determining DCs) and increases by 1d6 each round until a successful heal check against a DC equal to the attack’s damage is made.
13-14 Pericardial Injury +1d4 Damage/HD The target must roll a fortitude save against a DC equal to the attack’s damage each round. Failure results in the target going into shock and falling unconscious until he receives major medical attention. A second failure results in death. This condition persists until the target has received major medical attention or a successful surgery check is made.
15+ Heart Ruptured Instant death with no saving throw.
